After the journey that Greg and I have been on in order to complete our family, it is very important for me to find a way to give back to others that are going through the emotional and financial strains of Infertility. We could not have gotten to where we are today without the support of our family and friends, as well as some extra special doctors and nurses.
Fertility Centers of Illinois is hosting the 1st Annual Illinois Race for the Family on Saturday, June 23, 2012. The event will take place at Deer Grove Forest Preserve from 8-11am. It will include a 5K race and walk, a 1 mile Family Fun Walk and Savannah's Playground, a free outside festival for children and their parents/caregivers. There will also be a silent auction with many fabulous prizes. The event will raise money for the Cade Foundation, a 501c3 tax exempt organization that provides family building grants to couples experiencing Infertility. Furthermore, every registrant is entered into a free IVF raffle.
