Today was our 9 week ultrasound and exit appointment with Dr. Beltsos and Fertility Centers of Illinois. The babies continue to be growing strong. Everything looked perfect and they are actually starting to look a little bit like babies. They have little arm and leg buds now. It is amazing what a difference two weeks makes. After the ultrasound, we met with Dr. Beltsos and she released us to our surrogate's OB. It was really bittersweet. I am truly going to miss seeing all of the doctors and nurses that have become so close to me throughout this journey, but I know we will stay in touch. I can't wait to send them pictures of our precious babies in July!!

7 week ultrasound
We had our second ultrasound this morning. Our GS is exactly 7 weeks pregnant. It was an amazing start to our day. We were able to see both hearts beating strongly at 151 and 142. Everything looks perfect!!

First Ultrasound
This morning was our first ultrasound. Greg and I drove to FCI Naperville to meet our surrogate for the appointment. You will never believe what we saw on the screen....two sacs!! It looks like both of our embryos stuck. We even were able to see one of the heartbeats. The ultrasound tech told us that we should be able to see both heartbeats at next week's ultrasound. We are so thrilled. See below for the first picture of our babies.
